The Project involves the rehabilitation of the existing 208-km circumferential road of the province of Catanduanes, with about 90 km of PCCP and the remaining 118 km of gravel pavement, including reconstruction of about 15 bridges, improvement of drainage system and slope protection measures at disaster-prone areas.

The Consultant’s scope of work involved the following:
Detailed Engineering Design : Site investigation, topography survey, supplemental geological & detailed hydrologic survey, soils/materials & geotechnical investigation, detailed design of highway & drainage system, detailed design of bridges, slope protection, countermeasures against soft ground, flood, etc., preparation of right-of-way & utility relocation plans, cost estimates, study and proposal of construction execution, preparation of tender documents and preparation of implementation program;
Pre-Construction; and
Construction Supervision.
